Written and recorded, if I remember, in the punk late 70's, I'm very proud of both the lyrics and of the arrangement (with cunning little musical hooks illustrating the words - "old" gets a solo violin; "rock" provokes a guitar phrase; the sixties have a riff; "lamb" gets a baaaaa etc).

I think it's equally applicable today - all these ageing DJ's trying to be hip by playing trendy new music and all those even older singers "making new songs"... Tom Jones with Chicane anyone?

Anyway - one to make you smile that you might not know (it sold virtually nothing when it was released).
