Well this isn't actually about how to win the election; more how to gain power in the next government. Should be of great interest to both Lib Dems and SNP - the only important groups in this scenario.

Concentrate of the locals. Forget the nationals. Put all your efforts into the small selection of seats you can win to be essential in a coalition.

And make your efforts virtually entirely in social media. Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and all those other ghastly weapons of the Devil.

Because, let's be honest, on the day of voting a local Twitter campaign aimed directly at residents of the main towns and cities in that constituency will win it for you.
