For years I've been telling friends how Peter Cook - when I first met him - went on and on about how big a fan of mine he was and used to quote detailed lyrics of some of my obscure B sides to me. I assumed he was winding me up and told him to stop it. But he was being totally honest and sincere. Some of those B sides were quite surreal - my Salvador Dali period. Anyway now Ron Wood (ex Faces and Stones) confirms this (in a rather unflattering way).
