with Les Hurdle, one of my great regular past bass players (with Herbie Flowers), Clem Cattini the legendary drummer and another JK stalwart (with Ronnie Verrel and Dougie Wright) and John Macswith my superb engineer (at Lansdown and Utopia).
Much gossip and happy stories about great session players, much loved arrangers (Johnny Arthey, Arthur Greenslade) and fixers (Charlie Katz, Lou Warburton, Harry Benson).
They reminded me I used to let my drummers set up and then came in and took away the high hats and cymbals - I hated that ticky tocky noise and it freed up a hand to whack snare drums and toms!
