We had a terrific screening for the movie on the giant screen of the glorious old Coronet Cinema in Notting Hill Gate (my favourite cinema in London).
Despite appalling weather and pouring rain, 50-60 friends and media people turned up, ranging from the Daily Mail to Bizarre Magazine and Inside Time as well as numerous alternative, indie publications and sites like good old Popbitch.
We served chilled champagne and the movie started at 12.30 - everyone appeared to enjoy it despite rather primitive technological projection.
Wilde About Boys actually inspired applause as well as laughter.
Some regular posters on King Of Hits attended and the wide ranging crowd seemed to love it, judging by the comments made afterwards.
I was particularly happy to meet many young people - exactly the kind of taste makers who, 35 years ago, launched The Rocky Horror Show on the road to cult status.
So fingers crossed the word spreads.
