It's my original grunted Oogga Chagga treatment of the glorious Mark James country song.

Since making it and charting with it all over Europe in 1971, it's been copied, covered and used in such different places as Reservoir Dogs (haven't seen it myself but everyone assures me it's in there) and Ally McBeal (the dancing baby in the TV series).

I remember making it in the same session as Johnny Reggae and my bass player, Herbie Flowers, was so fascinated by the idea of Oogga Chagga that he insisted on staying for the entire session (rhythm players usually completed their work in the mornings) and remaining until the track was finished, voiced and mixed so he could hear how it all worked out.

He then pronounced it "brilliant" and went home - at 4am in the morning!
