A fact that friends of mine did not know and neither did I nor, I suspect, will you until you read this - Legal Aid, granted if your income is low (as mine is, now a retired fat old pervert), must be repaid in full if you are found Guilty - out of capital or other sources.

Luckily I had enough dear, loyal friends who pledged to pay it. But others were not so fortunate. Many have to sell their homes, evicting wives and children, in order to pay the huge sums if convicted.

Imagine sitting in prison, wrongly (or, even, rightly convicted), getting a bill and having to sell your home, destroying your (often) totally innocent family.

I found this disgraceful and something I hope a Corbyn government will change.
