In both those cases and many others (Ched Evans) they should have either themselves or through Private Investigators found out about Danny Day, Long's lying daughter (the pink sink), the previous behaviour of the Evans false allegation (although, poor girl, she never alleged anything until corrupt cops forced her to) and the dozens of other miscarriages of justice; some turned around on Appeal (but who wants to spend a few years in prison for crimes that never happened?).

Lawyers should find this out before court cases. Indeed I suspect in many cases the CPS would not have brought the prosecution had they been informed of the truth.
