Really good, like a Coen Bros movie - terrific direction, great script, very good camera work and some stunning acting (the guy playing a police chief - Michael Shannon - is sensational; Best Supporting Actor Oscar I reckon). Jake Gyllenhaal - his best ever performance. Amy Adams is great. But the minor characters are fabulous - Laura Linney has a cameo and is fantastic as Susan's mother.
