427 million quid needed by the Ministry of Justice to deal with these false allegations (a few of which are true and quite a few of which are partly true); 7500 extra sitting days needed last year for the courts; Mark Fenhalls QC - chairman of the Criminal Bar Association in despair (he describes the criminal justice system as playing catchup - some of us would say broken). What is going on? I shall tell you - media promotion is as successful as ever; plug a product hard and well and it will sell.
