Judas is the Patron Saint of False Accusers who sell their souls for thirty pieces of silver, coming from media, compensation board or police and CPS.
Whether it be through greed for cash, genuine delusion, misunderstanding, memories exaggerated by tabloid coverage, malice, revenge - the motives, as with Judas, are potentially many.
Some do not want coins; they want attention, sympathy, support, explanations for failure in life.
I prefer Saint Nicholas, Patron Saint of the Falsely Accused. Read Bob Woffinden and The Nicholas Cases - published May 2nd 2016.
